I am honored and proud to be named after St. Kateri. I have a love for nature, feeling God's presence in His makings of earth. I was raised a strong Roman Catholic. I love reading and learning about St. Kateri, knowing my name is so full of her life story.

I am doing a religion project and chose the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Conservation Center as my topic. I am deeply interested about the ecology and history of this organization and its patron saint, Kateri. Thank you for your continuous hard work.

So excited to have just registered my yard as a St. Kateri habitat! I work as an outreach coordinator for our state’s fish and wildlife division, and I constantly share during our programs how critical native plants are for wildlife, and that adding them to our backyards is an easy and effective way we can all help our local critters. It’s so awesome that this program exists, I love the intersection of faith and conservation! Best wishes to all my fellow gardeners and Catholic nature lovers out there!
