Loved the NY Times article. I'm not Catholic, but I appreciate the vision of this project and try to use native plants in my northern California yard whenever I can. https://bloomcalifornia.org/ is a useful resource for anyone in that part of the country 🙂

Greetings! The NY Times article was very inspiring and heart warming- I am so glad to know you are out there prompting love of God, neighbor and earth. I am a Baha’i and I also have small statues of St. Assi and Mother Mary in my yarden as they are close to my heart. I wanted to let you know that many people over here in my area are consciously choosing to promote a local natural habitat by using what we have control over- our own yards! We moved into our current house 5 years ago and have changed the yard from a kept lawn and house sprayed for spiders to a natural area. We have spiders, insects, birds, snakes, possums, skunks, owls, hawks and a fox all visiting our yard. The greatest gift is the connection to God- His bounty to us as revealed through nature. We are blessed to live in a very eco conscious area and have marshes, bay, ocean, forests and mountains so near ( and dear!) I just wanted to let you know how much what your doing means and that there are many of us alongside you. Have you heard of Mary Reynolds from Ireland? She’s another... Read more

I'm just happened to read a story about your organization in the New York Times online this morning. I have 15 acres of pasture and cornfield that I would like to change into a habitat and i've been looking for ways to do it for the last 2 years. Now I have some answers! Thank you.
